Dynamic Gardening:
observing and refining your perennial garden
Join Beth Brandon for an in depth exploration of the entryway garden at Osamequin Farm, cultivated with native perennials and other visitors.
Beth is one of our resident farmers and the owner of Outer Spaces, which specializes in ecological landscaping.
Through a detailed tour of the garden and open dialogue between attendees and educator, we will learn about our dynamic gardens. What can we observe in the garden today that might inform steps we take in the fall to enact changes come spring? The garden is always evolving, whether by our hand or outside forces. We’ll discuss strategies for observation and what different actions might yield.
Autumn is a great time to make edits to your perennial garden or landscape, so join us now and set yourself up for a productive fall of garden tending — and see the changes you set into motion take hold by the springtime.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited to allow for active discussion.
Tickets are $12 per individual or $20 per family. 50% discounts for WIC, SNAP, and Connector Care cardholders available here.
