Visitor Policies

Visitor Policies

Please do not bring your pets to the farm when you visit! We are a working farm with many free ranging animals, electric fences, and sensitive areas. For everyone’s safety, we do not allow visiting animals to the property.

Though we love to share our space, the farm is not open to the public every day. The Pick Your Own fields along Prospect St and the Farm Stand area are open to guests when we are open, and the rest of the space is accessible on Saturdays - which is also when you can take our self-guided audio tour.

The farm is not only our business and the home of all of our Resident Farmers’s businesses, it is also home to four families, three horses, a donkey, a pig, chickens, sheep, and many cats and dogs. Your best opportunity to explore the whole space is when we open up the space for events and workshops, so sign up for our email newsletter to be alerted when those opportunities arise.

There is a seasonal portable restroom available for use during your visit near the Farm Stand.

We are pleased to participate in the Massachusetts Card to Culture Program!

The Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program is the most comprehensive effort of its kind in the nation to open up access to arts and cultural experiences for low-income families.

Card to Culture offers reduced admission fees to any individual with an EBT, WIC and/or Massachusetts ConnectorCare card. There are so many amazing organizations participating along with Osamequin Farm! Explore the full lists of opportunities at the links below.

Card to Culture is a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector.

To apply your Card to Culture discount for Osamequin Farm events-

  • all EBT cardholders - enter discount code EBT50 at checkout for 50% off the admission or RSVP fee.

  • all WIC cardholders - enter discount code WIC50 at checkout for 50% off the admission or RSVP fee.

  • MA ConnectorCare cardholders - enter discount code CCMA50 at checkout for 50% off the admission or RSVP fee.

You may be asked to present your qualifying card at check in for the event, so please plan to have it on hand!

Card to Culture discounts are applicable for admission fees to all events hosted by Osamequin Farm. Some restrictions may apply - for example, discounts may not be applicable or may be limited for workshops when Osamequin Farm partners with an outside educator.

Any restrictions will be listed in the ticket description. Feel free to contact the Farm Director at Sarah@OsamequinFarm.com with any questions.

Photography

If the primary purpose of your visit is photography, we ask that guests do the following:

1. Schedule a brief orientation tour with the Farm Director, Sarah, to get the lay of the land.
2. Make a donation to our non-profit of a suggested sliding scale $50-200, depending on the length of the time you intend to spend here and the extent of your project.
3. Alert the Farm Director by phone when you intend to arrive.
