Little Wild Ones Yoga & Mindfulness (6-Week Series)
Join us for a fun and engaging 45-minute weekly outdoor yoga and mindfulness class designed for children ages 2–5 and their caregivers!
Each session introduces little ones (and their grown-ups!) to kid-friendly yoga poses and simple breathing exercises, using fun props and activities to build body awareness, self-regulation, strength, coordination, and flexibility.
Saturday mornings, Sept 27 through Nov 1
9am - 9:45am
families are welcome to stick around to enjoy their snacks or play in the field after yoga!
$85 per child for the 6-week series
Younger siblings (under age 2) are welcome to tag along for no additional cost.
Just bring a yoga mat or beach towel and wear something comfortable. In the event of light rain, please dress in appropriate gear.
About the Instructor
Alexandra Afonso is a registered 200-hour yoga teacher with experience teaching adult and children’s yoga classes. Alex is a licensed K-8 special education teacher and mother of a two-year-old daughter. She is passionate about getting kids outside to move, explore, and play, and believes that nature offers the perfect setting for sensory-rich experiences kids need to grow and thrive- both mentally and physically.
