This spring, Osamequin Farm welcomes Victoria Browning Wyeth for a weekend of storytelling, art, and community gathering. Victoria’s presentations draw from personal stories and family history to explore how place, memory, and daily life shaped her grandfather Andrew Wyeth’s creative work. The weekend includes a featured program on Saturday evening, a small-group reception, and a family-friendly Sunday event with a youth art exhibition inspired by the Wyeth legacy. As the kickoff event for our new Osamequin Presents series, the weekend is an invitation to neighbors, families, and art lovers alike to spend time together on the land and reflect on how creativity takes root.

Osamequin Presents is a new curated series hosted by Osamequin Farm that invites artists, historians, scientists, and cultural experts to engage our community in dialogue grounded in land and place.
By bringing new perspectives to the farm, the series highlights the ways art, ecology, memory, and history intersect. Each gathering is designed to foster thoughtful exchange in alignment with our mission of stewardship and shared inquiry.

Intimate Reception with Victoria Wyeth

Limited to a small group, this opportunity for refreshments and conversation with our guest will precede the evening presentation. Join us in the historic Carpenter House at Osamequin Farm for a catered spread and cocktails with Victoria before we find our seats for the main event.

Drawing from family stories and years of research, Victoria reflects on the life and work of her grandfather Andrew Wyeth, as well as the broader Wyeth family legacy, including Jamie and N.C. Wyeth. Her presentation offers a personal perspective on how farms, rural communities, and the rhythms of daily life informed their memorable work. Sharing these stories on conserved farmland reinforces the role the land played in shaping their creative lens.

Family Gathering

10:00 - 11:30 am

Sunday morning welcomes families to the farm for a warm and engaging program with Victoria Wyeth. Designed with students in 4th grade and up in mind, Victoria’s presentation will highlight Jamie Wyeth’s portrayals of farm animals and the close observation that defines his work.

Our historic 1700s barn will be filled with artwork by local students inspired by the Wyeth legacy — come see the remarkable creativity our young community holds. Hands-on activities will be available throughout the morning to engage younger siblings and encourage creative exploration, and light refreshments will be served.

Your visit to Osamequin Farm

• Parking is approximately 200 yards from the event space along a slight incline across grass and pavement. Closer parking and drop off access are available.

• This will be a seated presentation held in a tent outdoors on grass. Seating will be on folding chairs. We can provide chairs with arms upon request - please include this note during checkout so we can plan accordingly.

• We will have an ADA accessible restroom available for use.

• This event is essentially outdoors, under cover by a tent, so please dress according to the weather for your comfort.

• The Saturday and Sunday presentations will include a visual portion projected onto a screen as well as an audio portion, amplified by a microphone.

• The Saturday pre-event reception will be held in a building that requires 1 - 4 steps up to access. If this will prevent your participation, please reach out to Contact@OsamequinFarm.com and we will develop a solution that works for your needs.
